This years show is presented by Kathryn Thomas and all proceeds go to Timoleague Underage GAA.

The Republic of Loose Date: Sat 14th August Time: 11pm Venue: The Festival Dome Ticket Price: €20 (pre booking only) Website: Click Here The Republic of Loose step into the breech as a last minute replacement for the Coronas (thanks lads!) and what a replacement. I doubt if many punters will be looking for a refund for their Coronas tickets. Fresh from wowing the crowds in Oxygen, this funky Dublin Band will be making their second Timoleague festival appearance. If the last one is anything to go by we are in for a real treat.

The Paddies Date: Sun 15th August Time: 11pm Venue: The Festival Dome Ticket Price: €12 (tickets only available on the door) Website: Click Here The Paddies have made the festival their own over the last number of years with regular appearances to ever enthusiastic audiences. Their rip roaring renditions of classics such as 'Sean South' and 'Galway Girl' are the stuff of legend in Timoleague. Star Search Final Date: Tue 17th August Time:  8pm Venue: The Festival Dome Ticket Price: €15 Adult €10 Child (Tickets available in local shops or at this number 086 8336315) Website: Click Here The eagerly awaited final of the Star Search competition takes place on the first Tuesday of the festival. Since its inception the competition has captured the imagination of contestants and audiences alike and, with a first prize of €1000,  this years Star Search should be the most competitive yet. The talent in previous years has been truly amazing and whether you have a personal interest or not, your sure to be entertained.

Na Fianna Date: Wed 18th August Time: 9pm Venue: Village Street Ticket Price: Free Website: Click Here Na Fianna kick off this years free street concerts on the first Wednesday of the festival. These talented Kilkenny balladeers, who were second in the 2009 'All Ireland Talent Competion', have been winning over audiences since their formation in 2007. These open air free concerts have been a big part of the festival for many years and are hugely popular with adults and children. With a band as talented as Na Fianna on show, this year should prove to be no exception.

Mary Black Date: Thurs 19th August Time: 8pm Venue: The Festival Dome Ticket Price: €30 (Limited tickets available, pre booking only) Website: Click Here Mary Black needs very little introduction. A internationally renowned contemporary and folk singer, Mary is one of the biggest names to play the festival. Her ground breaking 1989 album , 'No Frontiers', brought this uniquely talented singer to a worldwide audience and we are proud to have her in this years line up. With her son Danny playing with the Coronas 5 days earlier, the festival is a real family affair for the Blacks.

Diarmuid O' Leary and the Bards Date: Fri 20th August Time: 9pm Venue: Village Street Ticket Price: Free Website: Click Here The second of this years free open air concerts features Diarmuid O' Leary and the Bards. Famous for their number 1 hit comedy single , Lanigans Ball , the Bards will have you laughing and singing on the streets of Timoleague. Come along and enjoy this great family night out!

FRED Date: Sat 21st August Time: 11pm Venue: The Festival Dome Ticket Price: €20 (pre booking available) Website: Click Here The festival committee are excited to announce the appearance of Cork band FRED at this years festival. This five-piece pop band have three albums, the third of which, 'Go God Go' was released in 2008. They have played both Oxygen and Electric Picnic and they have been used as theme music on the BBC. FRED are the most exciting band to come out of Ireland in a long time, "Like Sly & The Family Stone in a swordfight with the Flaming Lips, refereed by Brian Wilson" as one newspaper described them. Not to be missed!

The Kilkenny's Date: Sat 22nd August Time: 11pm Venue: The Festival Dome Ticket Price: €12 (Tickets available on door only) Website: Click Here Closing this years festival will be The Kilkenny's from , you guessed it, Kilkenny. The band, formerly known as Uisce Beatha, have successfully reintroduced Irish folk and ballads to a young audience while also winning the hearts of the more seasoned traditional music lovers. They rocked the dome last year with their rendition of 'Galway Girl' and more of the same is expected this year.
